Ennis is a cozy city with many pedestrian zones and a medieval city center. It is a center of Irish culture, especially traditional music, and is ideally located to discover the most impressive wonders of the Irish island, the Cliffs of Moher.
Keith and his team in Ennis are particularly keen to introduce you to the culture and landscapes of their country. Equally important to them is to help you improve your English and give you a memorable stay in Ennis, a city that has on several occasions been rated the most enjoyable in Ireland.
In the classroom and elsewhere, every participant receives the fullest attention: from arrival at the airport to departure, everything has been taken care of, you'll make huge progress in English and have fun at all times. The language courses focus on communication. Sporting or cultural activities and excursions are organized every afternoon and also on several evenings.
During your stay, you will be housed in a host family that the school team knows well and that is always eager to provide you with a pleasant study holiday. Either you go to school on foot or are taken there by a family member by car and then picked up again.

- 15 hours of English tuition per week, each morning in groups of a maximum of 15 students (12 on average).
Activities - or surf, horseriding or tennis lessons - take place every afternoon and on one or three evenings a week*, with full day trips organized on Saturdays.

Also included in the price of the stay:
Transfer to and from Shannon or Cork airports.

You live in a carefully selected host family, with a team member of the school taking care every day that everything goes smoothly. Our partner school knows many of the families personally and usually places the young participants among those with whom they have worked together for the longest time. Family stays are also possible and the school offers courses for adults.
The property is full board: breakfast and dinner with the host family, and for lunch there is something delicious to take with.
The families either live in the city center of Ennis or a little further away. This means you can either walk to school on foot or be driven by a family member. You will spend Sunday with your host family.
Please note that this is just a sample program.
* If you live with a host family a little further away from the city centre, on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, you will return back home and not take part in the activity program.
English and surfing
15 hours of English lessons and 10 hours of surf lessons at Lahinch Beach instead of afternoon activities (transfer organized by the school).
English and riding
15 hours of English lessons and 10 hours of horseriding at a nearby equestrian center instead of afternoon activities.
English and tennis
15 hours of English lessons and instead of the afternoon activities 15 hours of tennis (with about 15 Irish teenagers) for beginners, or 6 hours of tennis lessons in the same school in smaller groups (maximum 8 participants) for advanced students.
Please note: these are programs of at least two weeks.
Ideally, you arrive at Shannon Airport on Sunday, from where you will be picked up by either your host family or a member of the school staff. If you arrive in Dublin, the school can also organize the transfer from the airport to your accommodation.*
In both cases, the service is charged additionally by the school: the prices will appear on your registration form.
Please do not hesitate to contact us so as soon as you have booked your flight, so we can arrange the transfer from and to the airport accordingly.
* The school can also organise the transfer from and to the airports of Cork, Kerry, Knock - please contact us for details. For Dublin Airport, the price depends on the arrival and departure times: to benefit from the group transfer, please arrange arrival and departure between 11.00 and 17.00 o'clock.
