Boston is regarded as the most European city of the United States, and its literature and its architecture reflect this influence. Nowadays, it is a very dynamic metropolis that counts more than 50 universities, including the prestigious MIT and Harvard…

 

As for our partner school, it isn’t located in a university campus but in the city center, 12 minutes away from the Harvard square and right next to the Boston Common, one of the most beautiful and indisputably the oldest public park of the country. It occupies two floors in a modern 7 floor building and, since 2002, welcomes every week between 50 and 60 young students (from 15 to 19) who comes from all around the world to learn English and discover Boston.

 

Participants can either live in the building of the school or by a host family.

18 English lessons of 50 minutes per week, with highly qualified teachers who help students to feel more comfortable in English and get prepared for their exams.
20 students per class maximum.
Activities and excursions, always in the company of the professors, and always in English.
In the evening, participants stay with their host-families.
Accommodation: host-family, half-board (only the breakfast during the week-end, since participants go on an excursion)

The participants learn English, sleep and eat in the same building.

Members of the school’s staff stay and sleep in the same building: there’s never less than an adult for 15 participants.

Meals: full-board during the week (in the school’s cafeteria), only the breakfast during the week-end

Participants must leave the room before 12.00 am the day after the end of the program. Leaving later is not always possible and please consult the Extras section for additional fees.

 

Host family

These families live 30-40 minutes away from the school by public transportation (tickets are provided by the school). Participants go to the school and back on their own, or with another student hosted by the same family.

Meals: half-board (but participants can easily purchase tickets for the school’s cafeteria for 8-10$ a meal)

No activities during the evening: participants stay with their host-families

The school is located in the city center, so participants will be able to visit Boston during all their stay, always in the company of their professors. Among the places they’ll visit:  
 Museum of Fine Arts or Harvard University on a guided tour of the city.

Evening programme
You will be able to live and learn English in downtown Boston with all the cultural attractions and nightlife. The quality restaurants and shops are easily accessible on foot or by metro.
A DJ Dance Party is held once a week. In addition, a farewell party will be organised before you leave.

Please note that participants who choose to stay by a host family will not attend this events in the evening.

Transfer from the airport
 

Participants will be welcomed at the airport on Sundays and transfer to the airport will take place on Saturdays.

For this reason, if you wish to benefit from the transfer, please book flight according to the following guidelines:

  • Arrival on Sunday
  • Return on Saturday
  • Between 2pm and 9pm.

The transfer included in the price is from Logan International Airport Airport (BOS).

The flight is not included in the price.
