Learn English in the Maltese Capital!
Malta’s petite and historic capital is the smallest capital city of the 27 EU member states, with a population of just 5, 680 - and it’s living proof that good things do come in small packages!
Known as Il-Belt in Maltese, Valletta was built by the Knights of St. John in the 16th century and has retained its 16th-century elegance to this day. Sitting on a tiny peninsula (only 1km by 600m), Valletta manages to squeeze an abundance of sights into such a small space, which has lead to the entire city being named as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, being described as 'one of the most concentrated historic areas in the world' in the process.
