French study holiday in Antibes, France for children & teenagers
Our partner school in Antibes was established in 1985, it is recognized by the French government and by many international language associations, and receives more than 7000 students (including 1700 young people) every year: yet this relatively big institution offers a very familial, human-scaled program for children and teenagers who want to learn French and have a nice vacation on the French Riviera.
Classes are therefore held in small groups (15 students maximum), and teachers-animators who are always around when participants have fun in the school's swimming pool, play games, or go on a trip to Monaco, the Nautical amusement park or the Lérins Islands.
Several options are offered for the accommodation: participants can live with a local family or in one of the school residence.

French Course for teenagers (from 12 to 17 years old)

French Classes
20 lessons of 45 minutes per week, in the morning, in groups of 15 participants maximum.
In summer the courses are held on the "Horticole" Campus or "Leonard de Vinci" Campus (where the participants are hosted except if they choose the Host family option.
During the rest of the year, the classrooms are in the school, Le Château (The Castle).
Optional intensive classes (6 lessons of 45 minutes) are offered in the afternoon for an extra cost.*
As an option, teenagers can follow a special program to prepare the DELF exam, or even (for participants older than 16 with an advanced level), attend classes in one of Antibes high-school.*
Activities
Every afternoon: sailing, sports…
Every evening: barbecue, disco night, board games, cabarets...
Every week, a full-day excursion is organized during the weekend (the Lérins Islands, Nice or a nautical theme park) and a half-day excursion during the week (Monaco, Cannes, Marineland)
Animators are always around the participants at every moment
Please note that participants, depending of their age, can be authorized to go out on their own two or tree evenings every week (if parents agree and sign an authorization form).

Unlike teenagers, children under 13 are not allowed to leave the school unattended. During their "free time" they will be proposed animations and workshops under the surveillance of the animators.

Dance & Fitness
Students will have 2 hours of classes every afternoon in a dance studio in Antibes, from Monday to Friday.
Students will prepare a choreography which will be performed on campus in front of an audience Thursday night during our cabaret evening.
On Friday to gently finish this week students will take part in a yoga lesson.
On the weekend students will join in on an excursion from our traditional program.
*Important note: some dance experience required to join our dance program.
Excursions
1 full-day excursion at the weekendMonaco and the Oceanographic Museum:
he Principality of Monaco is a city of beauty and royalty. The tour includes the visit of the royal palaces, the cathedral, the Royal Gardens, and the Oceanographic Museum.
ORNice: Nice is the capital of the French Riviera, modern, elegant and simple. You can go from the center to the beach in 5 minutes. The tour lasts around 1 hour and includes the visit of : Mont Boron Gardens, Place Massena, the Promenade des Anglais, the old town and its shops, the Cours Saleya…
ORAquasplash: The largest water park on the French Riviera with numerous pools. Students have the whole day to enjoy this aquatic park (11 am to 5 pm).

Participants can choose between living with a local family or in one of the school's residences.
Host families
They are chosen and controlled by the school, and leave in the municipality of Antibes - Juan les Pins. Most of them live near the school, but sometimes the participants will have to take the bus before the classes and after the afternoon activities.
The first Monday, one or two family members go with their guest to the school's premise, to make sure that he or she has all the information and is able to find his or her way. After that, participants will have to get there on foot or by public transport (max. journey time of 30 minutes).
Participants will eat their breakfast and dinner with the family and will have lunch at the school during the week. During the week-end excursions, they'll get a lunch box from the family.
The young participants are supposed to keep their room tidy, and to bring their own towels…
Residences
Depending of the season, the participants can be hosted in 3 different locations.
Horticole Summer campus
Located 20 minutes walk from the seaside, and 30 minutes from the city center (but there's also the school's shuttle that can be used freely twice a day).
2 or 4 participants sleep in the same room*. Showers and toilets on every floor.
Full-pension (buffet) and lunch-box during the week-end excursion.
The young participants are supposed to keep their room tidy, and to bring their own towels…
There's a swimming-pool, sport equipments, free Wi-fi, and washing-machines are available in the building for the laundry.
Classes are held in the same building.

Summer Campus Léonard de Vinci
Located 20 minutes away from the seaside by public transport, and 30 minutes from the city center (but there's also the school's shuttle that can be used freely twice a day).

Castel Arabel Residence
Located 7 minutes walk from the seaside, 12 minutes from the city center and 20 minutes from the school.
2 or 4 participants sleep in the same room*. Showers and toilets on every floor.
Participants will eat their breakfast and lunch at school, and their diner in the residence. They'll receive a lunch-box during the week-end excursion.
There's a swimming-pool, sport equipments, free Wi-fi, and washing-machines are available in the building for the laundry.
* Single rooms can be booked for an extra-fee (see the registration form)
20 lessons of 45 minutes per week; Mondays to Fridays from 9am to 12.30pm. On the first day there will be a placement test. For a one-week stay only 16 lessons are taught.
There is a full-day and half-day excursion per week.
