French study holiday in Antibes, France for children & teenagers
Our partner school in Antibes was established in 1985, it is recognized by the French government and by many international language associations, and receives more than 7000 students (including 1700 young people) every year: yet this relatively big institution offers a very familial, human-scaled program for children and teenagers who want to learn French and have a nice vacation on the French Riviera.
Classes are therefore held in small groups (15 students maximum), and teachers-animators who are always around when participants have fun in the school's swimming pool, play games, or go on a trip to Monaco, the Nautical amusement park or the Lérins Islands.
Several options are offered for the accommodation: participants can live with a local family or in one of the school residence.

In summer the courses are held on the "Leonard de Vinci" Campus (where the participants are hosted except if they choose the Host family option)

Every evening: barbecue, disco night, board games, cabarets...
Every week, a full-day excursion is organized during the weekend (the Lérins Islands, Nice or a nautical theme park) and a half-day excursion during the week (Monaco, Cannes, Marineland)
Animators are always around the participants at every moment
Unlike teenagers, children under 13 are not allowed to leave the school unattended. During their "free time" they will be proposed animations and workshops under the surveillance of the animators.

French Classes
20 lessons of 45 minutes per week, in the morning, in groups of 15 participants maximum.
In summer the courses are held on the "Horticole" Campus or "Leonard de Vinci" Campus (where the participants are hosted except if they choose the Host family option.
During the rest of the year, the classrooms are in the school, Le Château (The Castle).
Optional intensive classes (6 lessons of 45 minutes) are offered in the afternoon for an extra cost.*
As an option, teenagers can follow a special program to prepare the DELF exam, or even (for participants older than 16 with an advanced level), attend classes in one of Antibes high-school.*

This module for infants is created in the form of fun, age-appropriate activities. There is a focus on developing oral skills to enable kids to get to grips with the immediate needs of daily life and familiarize them with the French language.

This programme is aimed at young people who want to improve their French in the morning and spend the rest of the day afternoon with their families. Accommodation is not provided by the school.
In the morning, you will attend French classes for 20 lessons of 45 minutes per week, in groups of maximum 15 participants. In the afternoon you are free an you can spend quality time with your family.
Depending on age, season, and the selected programme, participants stay either with a host family or in one of the school’s residences. Accommodation is always supervised and age-appropriate.
Host families (from 13 years)
Participants aged 13 and above can stay with carefully selected French host families in the Antibes / Juan-les-Pins area. Accommodation is in shared rooms; full board is included. Lunch is taken at the school.
Most host families are within walking distance of the school. However, especially during high season, a bus ride of up to 30 minutes may be required.
Residences / Campus (depending on season)
Depending on the season, accommodation takes place in one of the following residences:
Horticole Campus (summer – ages 8–17)
The campus is located approx. 20 minutes’ walk from the sea and 30 minutes from the city centre. A free school shuttle bus is available twice a day.
Participants stay in shared rooms with 2 or 4 people. Showers and toilets are located on each floor. Full board (buffet) as well as a packed lunch during weekend excursions are included. The campus offers, among other things, a swimming pool, sports equipment, free Wi-Fi and laundry facilities. Classes take place in the same building.
Leonardo da Vinci Campus (summer – ages 12–17)
The campus is located approx. 20 minutes by public transport from the sea and 30 minutes from the city centre. A free shuttle bus is available twice a day.
Participants stay in shared rooms with 3 people, each with a shower in the room; toilets are located on each floor. Full board (buffet), weekend packed lunches, as well as a swimming pool, sports facilities, Wi-Fi and laundry facilities are included. Classes take place in the same building.
Single rooms can be booked depending on availability and accommodation type at an additional cost (see registration form).
20 lessons of 45 minutes per week; Mondays to Fridays from 9am to 12.30pm. On the first day there will be a placement test. For a one-week stay only 16 lessons are taught.
One full-day and one half-day excursion take place per week (ages 12–17).

Airport transfer
Arrival is on Sunday and departure on Saturday. Transfers to/from Nice Airport or Antibes train station are included at weekends (weekday transfers available at an additional cost).
The flight and train journey are not included in the price.
