Language School for 13 to 17 year olds in Cambridge
Cambridge is one of the world’s most famous university cities and offers a unique setting for a language stay. Its prestigious colleges, historic buildings, beautiful parks and the River Cam give the city its distinctive character and make it an ideal place to discover England and British culture.
Our partner school, Select English, is centrally located in Cambridge and welcomes young people from different countries every year. In this international environment, students improve their English while having plenty of opportunities to use the language in everyday situations outside the classroom.
During their stay, students discover Cambridge, its famous colleges and attractions while spending their free time with other international teenagers. This makes it easy to meet new people, make friends and use English naturally beyond the classroom.
The programme combines learning English with experiencing life in one of England’s most iconic university cities, giving students the opportunity to improve their language skills, become more independent and enjoy a varied and memorable international experience.

Accommodation
You can choose between a carefully selected host family (ages 14–17) or a supervised school residence (ages 13–17).
Host family
Staying with a host family gives you the opportunity to experience everyday British life and practise your English outside the classroom. You will usually share a room with another international student.
School residence
In the school residence, you live with other international students within walking distance of the school. Single or shared rooms are available depending on availability. A House Manager lives on site and is there to help with any questions or problems.
Meals
Breakfast, a packed lunch and dinner are included. Special dietary requirements must be indicated when booking. An additional fee may apply for certain special diets, such as gluten-free or lactose-free meals.
Activities marked with a £ come at an additional charge of £25 per activity.

Evening programme
In the evening, plenty of entertainment is also provided:

- And to relax, a movie night - always in English, of course!
Excursions
Every Saturday there will be a full day trip to London. During the week, we will make excursions to Cambridge as well as to the surroundings of the city (in St Edmunds, Peterborough, etc.)
Airport transfer
All summer language courses start on Sunday and end on Saturday. From Heathrow or Stansted Airport the transfer is included in the price.
If your arrival and / or departure are outside the 9am to 5pm time slots and / or you arrive / depart from another airport (eg Luton / Gatwick), please consult the extras section for additional transfer fees. This cost can be shared between 2 students.
If you would like us to organise your transfer to the airport, please give us the details of your flight at least 10 days before your arrival.
The day of arrival is Sunday and the day of departure is Saturday. In case you want to extend your stay for a day, please check the additional charges in the extras section.
The flight is not included in the price.
