Our partner school, founded in 1977, is located just a few minutes walk away from Karlsplatz, which was known for being the busiest place in Europe in the middle of the 18th century. That may no longer be true on a continental scale, but Karlsplatz still remains the beating heart of Munich today and is home to the city’s main shopping street. Our school is located in the direct vicinity of Munich’s main train station and boasts everything that you need to learn German efficiently: sunny classrooms, a modern media center, a cozy cafeteria and a large roof terrace where you can relax in the sun or play table tennis. Free WiFi is also available throughout the school.
Outside of the classroom you’re invited to join the schools social programme and enjoy tours of the city, the surrounding area as well as evening activities designed to help you enjoy the social aspect and the city’s nightlife with your new friends.
You don’t know any German at all, but want to start learning?
All elementary-advanced level courses have start dates on every Monday throughout the year.

Host Families
Living with a host family is the best way to immerse yourself in the language as you’ll get to continue learning after class by putting your language skills into real life practice, as you become part of the family!
If you select the shared room option, our partner school will take care to make sure your roommate has different mother tongue to you, encouraging you both to practice German as much as possible.
At this school, it’s worth noting that the host families are not always ‘traditional’ families; there are also single parent families and single elderly people who will welcome you into their home.
Youth Hotel (for participants older than 18)
If you’re looking to live a little bit more independently whilst enjoying the student life, then this is the accommodation option for you! You must be over 18 to choose this accommodation option. You have the option to stay in shared twin rooms or private single rooms.
The facilities in the Youth Hotel include:
Arrival: Sunday before course start | Check-In: 15:00 h
Departure: Saturday after last course day | Check-Out: 10:00 h
Our partner school offers guided tours and walks in Munich and the surrounding area. These activities are not included nor compulsory, but some are certainly not to be missed!
Munich is a city with so much to see and do that it can sometimes seem intimidating and you don’t even know where to start. But not to worry, our partner school’s got you covered! They;ll take you on discovery tours through Modern Pinakothek, Castle Nymphenburg, the famous English Garden and much, much more. For sports fans, there will of course be an opportunity to visit the colossal Allianz Arena, home of the all-conquering Bayern Munich Football Club!
You’ll also be presented with the chance to venture outside of Munich to nearby cities and landmarks such as Augsburg, the Austrian city of Salzburg (the home of Mozart!) and the Bavarian Alps, where you’ll even get the chance to ski if the season's right! In the evenings you’ll also have the chance to go bowling with your new friends, or simply join them in the bar for a beer or two.
All of the excursions provided by the school are very reasonably priced and can be booked at the time. If you would like more information on excursions, social activities and prices, don’t hesitate to contact us directly.
