Football Camp in Cambridge – Learn English and Train Football
Cambridge is one of England’s most famous university cities and offers a unique international atmosphere for a language stay. Our English and Football Camp combines learning English with professional football training and gives you the opportunity to meet young people from different countries.
Our partner school, Select English, is centrally located in Cambridge. Alongside your English lessons, you train regularly with coaches qualified by the English Football Association (FA). The training is suitable for boys and girls of different playing levels and combines technical and tactical exercises with varied training sessions and matches.
As the football training also takes place in English, you use the language not only in the classroom but directly on the football pitch. This allows you to improve your English naturally while developing your football skills at the same time.
The camp combines English, football and international life in Cambridge and is ideal for teenagers who want to improve their language skills while pursuing their passion for football.

Accommodation
You can choose between a carefully selected host family (ages 14–17) or a supervised school residence (ages 13–17).
Host family
Staying with a host family gives you the opportunity to experience everyday British life and practise your English outside the classroom. You will usually share a room with another international student.
School residence
In the school residence, you live with other international students within walking distance of the school. Single or shared rooms are available depending on availability. A House Manager lives on site and is there to help with any questions or problems.
Meals
Breakfast, a packed lunch and dinner are included. Special dietary requirements must be indicated when booking. An additional fee may apply for certain special diets, such as gluten-free or lactose-free meals.
The activities marked with (£) incur additional costs which can be paid on the spot.

Excursions
Every Saturday there is a full day excursion to London as well a midweek trips in and around Cambridge (St Edmunds, Peterborough).
