Language Study Holiday on the French Riviera for Kids and Teenagers
Juan les Pins is a charming seaside resort next to Cannes, famous for its jazz festival and its well-known visitors (Ernest Hemingway and F. Scott Fitzgerald used to come there during the Roaring Twenties). Our language school partner organizes there, every summer, a vacation camp for teenagers who want to enjoy a maximum comfort while learning French.
In the morning, participants will go to the school's building, le Château (The Castle) and we'll be treated like kings and queens during the rest of the day: there's a large swimming pool in the hotel, the beach is only a few minutes walk away and the city center is also nearby...
Classes in small groups and a rich activity program (including boat trips, scuba diving) and excursions to Monaco, Saint-Tropez and amusement parks - teenagers coming from all around the world have a great time every year, and discover one of the most beautiful location of the French Riviera!

French Classes
20 lessons of 45 minutes per week, in the morning, in groups of 15 participants maximum.
In autumn the courses are held on the "Horticole" Campus or "Leonard de Vinci" Campus (where the participants are hosted except if they choose the Host family option.
During the rest of the year, the classrooms are in the school, Le Château (The Castle).
Optional intensive classes (6 lessons of 45 minutes) are offered in the afternoon for an extra cost.*
As an option, teenagers can follow a special program to prepare the DELF exam, or even (for participants older than 16 with an advanced level), attend classes in one of Antibes high-school.*
Activities
Every afternoon: sailing, sports…
Every evening: barbecue, disco night, board games, cabarets...
Every week, a full-day excursion is organized during the weekend (the Lérins Islands, Nice or a nautical theme park) and a half-day excursion during the week (Monaco, Cannes, Marineland)
Animators are always around the participants at every moment
Please note that participants, depending of their age, can be authorized to go out on their own two or tree evenings every week (if parents agree and sign an authorization form).

Accommodation is provided either in a residence or with a carefully selected host family, depending on the chosen programme. All options are supervised and organised in an age-appropriate way.
Castel Arabel Residence (12–17 years)
During the autumn season, participants stay at the Castel Arabel residence in Juan-les-Pins. The residence is located in a quiet area close to the sea and offers a comfortable environment for the stay.
Students are accommodated in shared rooms (2–4 participants) with private bathroom and air conditioning. The residence also features common areas, a terrace and an outdoor area with a swimming pool.
Breakfast and dinner are served at the residence, while lunch takes place at the school. Packed lunches are provided at weekends.
A shuttle service connects the residence with the school. Bed linen is provided and changed regularly. Towels are not included and must be brought by the participants.
Host families (from 13 years)
Alternatively, participants aged 13 and above can stay with carefully selected French host families in the Antibes / Juan-les-Pins area.
Accommodation is in shared rooms. Breakfast and dinner are taken with the host family, while lunch is provided at the school.
Host families are usually located within approximately 20 minutes of the school (on foot or by public transport).
Staying with a host family offers a valuable opportunity to practise French in everyday situations and experience the local culture.
French course
The course includes 20 lessons of 45 minutes per week, held from Monday to Friday in the morning (approx. 09:00–12:30). A placement test takes place on the first day, which slightly reduces the effective lesson time during the first week.
Activities & excursions
One full-day excursion and one half-day excursion are included per week. In addition, students take part in supervised leisure and evening activities.
Notes
On French public holidays, classes usually do not take place. An adapted activity programme is organised instead.

Airport transfer
Arrival is on Sunday and departure on Saturday. Transfer from Nice airport or Antibes train station is included in the price.
The flight and train journey are not included in the price.
