Do you feel like surfing, sailing and kayaking in one of the few places on our planet with an average of more than 10 hours of sunshine per day? Well in our summer camp in Malta, you’ll not only come back as a tanned water sports fanatic, but also as a professional English speaker!
Our junior camp is located in St. Paul's Bay, a picturesque fishing town in northeastern Malta. In the small center with its historic buildings, traditional shops, fashionable boutiques and local restaurants, you can meet friends and practice your English in everyday life.
Mellieħa, with the longest and most beautiful sandy beach of the island, is easily reachable by bus. Here you can go swimming, play beach volleyball, snorkel or sunbathe in the warm sun. Bugibba, another typical Maltese sea town, is within walking distance.
What do we offer?
- The school is spacious and accommodates 10 bright and airy classrooms. The English language courses are specially designed for young students and take place daily in 2 blocks of 90 minutes with a 15-minutes break. Experienced and qualified teachers and group leaders support and supervise the students around the clock.
- After class, participate in exciting programmes and activities designed specifically for fun and adventure for 10-16 year olds.
- When it comes to accommodation, you can choose a 3-star hotel or a typical Maltese host family.
- Our package includes many safe and fun activities that are supervised by our trained staff. Here is a small selection:
- Trips to the cultural and historical sites of the capital Valletta and the millennium-old walled city of Mdina.
- Shopping trips to Sliema and St. Julian's, beach fun at Golden Bay and Mellieħa Bay, boat trips to Comino and the Blue Lagoon, fun sports and theme nights, international student parties and much more!
Take advantage of our unique water sports programme and become the queen or king of the seas!
We offer special sports packages with three 120-minute lessons a week. You have the choice between a WATERSPORT or a DIVING package (equipment and teaching materials are included in the price). The water sports lessons take place in Mellieħa.
WATERSPORT - This programme includes a blend of surfing, snorkelling & stand-up paddling.
DIVING - All diving materials & equipment will be provided and are included in the price. A certificate is awarded at the end of the course.
The above offers are geared towards young, motivated teens with little or no experience and are only available in the summer programme. All participants must take out a travel and water sports insurance. In addition, all participants must be able to swim.
Public holidays falling on weekdays 07 April, 29 June & 15 August
Airport transfers on arrival and departure are included.

The school is equipped with 14 large bright and airy classrooms. English classes are specially designed for young people and take place daily in 2 blocks of 90 minutes with a break of 15 minutes. Experienced and qualified teachers and group leaders support and supervise students twenty-four hours a day.

3-star hotel
The BELS Juniors Residence is a 3-star hotel located in Qawra, St. Paul's Bay - just a 10-minute school bus ride away from our centre. The hotel consists of 170 rooms, built around a swimming pool. All rooms are approximately 22 metres squared and are serviced by elevators. Each room has a private balcony, telephone system, cooler, a TV, a hair dryer as well as a bath with handheld shower, a safety deposit box and free Wi-Fi (web surfing - not download).
The hotel's facilites include:
Air conditioned public areas with free Wi-Fi;
Reception (manned around the clock; 24h);
Student restaurant - serving breakfast, lunch (seasonally) & dinner - all buffet;
Outdoor and Indoor swimming pools with Jacuzzi (outdoor pool only); with showers and toilets;
Games room.

We offer special sports packages with three 120 minute lessons a week. You have the choice between sailing or windsurfing (equipment and teaching materials are included in the price). The water sports lessons take place in Mellieħa. Those who cannot choose between one sport or the other have the opportunity to participate in our two-week water sports course. This consists of 2 lessons of sailing, 2 lessons of windsurfing and 1 lesson of kayaking. The above offers are geared towards young, motivated teens with little or no experience and are only available in the summer programme. All participants must take out a travel and water sports insurance. In addition, all participants must be able to swim.
Evening Programme
The evening programme is also jam packed! After a hearty and healthy dinner, you can recharge your batteries. Every Monday there is a BBQ right on the beach - after which, those who want can jump into the sea after dark - fully supervised, of course! Afterwards, you will have different options every night: the Golden Bay by night, a Bugibba and Mdina photo tour, a sports evening, international student party, boat party, walks to St. Paul's Bay or just a quiet evening during one of the free evenings.

Transfer from the airport
The transfer to and from Malta International Airport is included in the price.
