A trendy language stay in Berlin!
Founded in 1990, our partner school is located close to the Oranienburger Strasse, in Berlin’s Mitte district, north of the River Spree. This lively one kilometer-long street, that stretches from Hackescher Market to Friedrichstrasse, boasts bars, cafes, art galleries, boutique shops and encompases Berlin’s famous nightlife.
You needn’t worry about the noise however; whilst the school does have this vibrant life on its doorstep, it’s tucked away in a quiet side street, easily found thanks to its distinctive bright red door.
Our friendly and welcoming Berlin partner school invites students to study German in bright and spacious classrooms. Outside of the classroom, students can enjoy the cafeteria with free internet, free use of computers and a roof terrace, that’s the perfect place to chill out with your friends during the Spring and Summer months.
Don’t know any German at all, but want to start learning?
In 2020, beginner courses will start on the folowing dates: 06.01., 03.02., 02.03., 06.04., 04.05., 02.06., 06.07., 20.07., 03.08., 07.09., 05.10 and 02.11
All elementary-advanced level courses have start dates on every Monday throughout the year.
Please note that there will be no class held during the public Hollydays.
Once your German classes are done for the day, you can join one of the school’s many social activity programme including city walks and trips to Leipzig and Potsdam.
Host Families
Living with a host family is the best way to immerse yourself in the language as you’ll get to continue learning after class by putting your language skills into real life practice, as you become part of the family!
If you select the shared room option, our partner school will take care to make sure your roommate has different mother tongue to you, encouraging you both to practice German as much as possible.
At this school, it’s worth noting that the host families are not always ‘traditional’ families; there are also single parent families and single elderly people who will welcome you into their home.

If you’re looking to live a little bit more independently whilst enjoying the student life, then this is the accommodation option for you! You must be over 18 to choose this accommodation option. You have the option to stay in shared twin rooms or private single rooms.

Our partner school offers guided tours and walks in Berlin and the surrounding area. These activities are not included nor compulsory, but some are certainly not to be missed!
The walking tours through the city centre will help you get acquainted with the city’s history and alternative culture, from the remains of the Berlin Wall, to Postdamer Platz and the bustling backstreets of the Hackescher Markt.
You’ll also be presented with the chance to venture outside of Berlin to nearby cities and landmarks such as Potsdam, Leipzig and Dresden.
All of the excursions provided by the school are very reasonably priced and can be booked at the time. If you would like more information on excursions, social activities and prices, don’t hesitate to contact us directly.
