Our camp in the beautiful Glarnerland offers formidable views of the Tödi!
In our friLingue Ski Camp, you learn English, French or German in small groups of 6 participants. After the language course, it's off to the slopes: carving, short turns or stem turns? Together is the most fun!
At the Braunwald Language & Ski Camp we learn French, English or German for 12 hours a week. Then it's off to the slopes! We spend 15 hours a week exploring the Braunwald ski area. And when we are tired, a glance at the Tödi is enough to pause for a moment, catch our breath and let the snow fun continue!
After an intensely long day, we have a delicious homemade dinner from our typical friLingue kitchen and then we continue with the evening program.
Braunwald - the sunny terrace of the Glarnerland is ideal for studying French, German or English
The camp in Braunwald takes place in our Adrenalin Backpacker Hostel. Here we have plenty of space: three large terraces, single, double, 4-bed, 6-bed and multi-bed rooms and a bar with syrup and other non-alcoholic delicacies! There is also a table football and a billiards table. The child-friendly and sunny ski area is a 2-minute walk away.
Braunwald is car-free and lies on a sunny terrace high above the sea of fog. The village can be reached by car from Zurich in just over an hour. Or you can use the accompanied train ride from Zurich HB with departure on Sunday afternoon.

The Adrenalin Backpackers Hotel awaits you on a sunny terrace in the Glarus Alps with the most beautiful views! For those who love the camaraderie of group living, our spacious 4-6 bedroom rooms with shared bathrooms provide a vibrant and social atmosphere where campers can bond and create lasting connections. Alternatively, if privacy is preferred, our 4-6 bedroom rooms with private bathrooms offer a more intimate setting while still accommodating a small group.
For families or close-knit friends, our 2-bedroom rooms with private bathrooms provide a cozy and homely space to relax and unwind. We accompany you to the check-in desk, providing guidance and assistance. Please note, that our service ends at the desk, ensuring a smooth handoff before processing. This service is only available if you book a departure transfer.

AIRPORT TRANSFER (for participants coming from abroad):
Please note that air tickets are not included in the price.
1. Zurich: every Sunday - 150 CHF per trip.
Arrival between 10.00 and 17.00.
Departure between 12.00 and 20.00.
2. Zurich: For arrivals outside the stated times - 400 CHF per journey.
3. Private transfer from Zurich airport - 500 CHF per trip.
friLingue offers an UNACCOMPANIED MINOR SERVICE at the cost of 100 CHF each way for incoming minor students. Please check your airline's age restriction guidelines. You may find further information on the Unaccompanied Minor Service by clicking on the following link: here.
ACCOMPANIED TRAIN RIDE FROM ZURICH OR BERN:
(for Swiss participants)
A member of our team waits for the participants in Zurich or Bern (each time at the main train station) and takes them to the camp along with other children and teenagers (by bus or train). At the end of the week, the participants are accompanied back to Zurich or Bern (again, to the main train station) until their parents (or another adult designed by the parents) wait for them.
Price (per way): 40 CHF from or to Zurich, 60 CHF from or to Bern (price includes the train ticket)
Price (per way) for participants with a General Abonnement (GA): 25 CHF from or to Zurich, 25 CHF from or to Bern.
Please note that for any late change (10 days before the camps or less) after booking this service (cancellation or other destination), friLingue will have to charge administration fees (40 CHF).
ARRIVAL/DEPARTURES:
Arrivals are on Sundays between 5 and 6pm at our hostel where friendly members of our staff will be waiting to welcome you and show you to your room Departures are every Saturday after the excursion between 3.30 and 4pm at the train station of that week's excursion location. The exact time and location will be confirmed by the camp leader during the week. It is also possible for parents or guardians to collect their children directly from the camp either on Friday evening or on Saturday morning before 10am, we just kindly ask that you notify the camp leader in advance.
In Braunwald, we offer the opportunity to accompany children and teenagers on their language study trips. Parents can also book a private course or simply enjoy the beautiful mountain scenery.

The exact timetable (days and hours) will be agreed upon directly with the teacher and instructor on Sunday, the day of arrival.

The Ski Pass is not included in the price. As a parents, you can purchase it on-site for as many days as you wish. If you book ski or snowboard lessons with us, you'll receive a ski pass for the days the lessons are booked.
