Welcome to the Creative Media Camp, hosted at our mountain chalet in Liddes, in the Grand St. Bernard region of Valais. This camp brings together language learning and creative filmmaking in one unforgettable week, giving participants the freedom to tell their own stories, their own way.
Each morning, participants attend language classes in small groups of 6 (French, English, German, or Maths), for a total of 15 hours of focused, practical learning across the week. Young, motivated teachers use active methods to build real communication skills in a relaxed and supportive environment.
Three afternoons are dedicated to the Creative Media workshops, all conducted in English, each one building on the last.
Participants discover the basics of narrative structure, try their hand at acting, and develop the concept for their own short film/video.
Armed with their phones and a clear vision, groups head out to shoot their project.
final shots, editing, and finishing touches, before the big premiere at the end of the week, where the best creations are presented to the entire camp.
Unlike a traditional social media workshop, the Creative Media Camp gives participants full creative freedom. Whether they choose to shoot a punchy short vertical video or a proper short film in landscape format, the focus is always on learning by doing, working as a team, and having something real to show at the end.
What's included:
All participants also enjoy two half-day excursions during the week and a full-day excursion on Saturday to discover the stunning Grand St. Bernard region. Evenings bring a different activity every night, from rallies and campfires to game nights and karaoke. Three meals a day are prepared on-site by our cook, and accommodation is in our cosy alpine chalet.
