You feel like at sixes and sevens over what to do to solve an equation? After a week or two at St. Bernard, you'll be in seventh heaven or maybe even on cloud nine, for our Math camp is a perfect ten!
In our chalet in the mountain village of Liddes, in the Valais region of Grand St. Bernard, we’ll help you to get over all your difficulties with numbers and to get prepared for your exams, all this while making sure you’re having fun during your whole stay.
In small groups of 8 students in average, you’ll review the lessons you’ve learned at school, but not like in school: our young teachers will do their best so that you feel at ease, you gain confidence and discover how fascinating and amusing mathematics can be!
Every morning, three hours of mathematics lessons in our chalet or in a nearby building – and in the afternoon, you’ll take part to activities and excursions to have a wonderful vacation.
And excellent price-quality ratio 15 hours of mathematics tutoring, in full pension. The young participants will sleep in our comfortable dormitories and enjoy the delicious meals prepared by our chef.
Participants can also take part to English, German or French classes in the afternoon (2 or 3 times a week).
Important: Depending on the number/type of registrations, the lessons will be held in German or English. If you don't understand German and would like to have the course in English, please contact us via email or phone!

Main Accommodation - Relais de Dranse - Autumn, Winter & Spring
This accommodation is used for our Autumn and Spring camps, for winter camp is used during the first six weeks of the season, from 20 December 2026 to 30 January 2027.
Our spacious chalet "Relais de Dranse", renovated in 2014, is situated in Liddes, in a wonderfully quiet location on the Dranse, a headstream of the river Rhone, about 5 minutes below the pass road to the Aosta Valley in Italy. Sprawling countryside and no passing traffic make it an absolutely perfect place to relax in comfort and warmth following a hard day's skiing. When it comes to sleeping, our chalet has a range of bedrooms that sleep between 4 and 8 persons in comfortable bunkbeds.

Partner accommodation - in Liddes - Winter
This accommodation is used for our winter camp during the first six weeks of the season, from 20 December 2026 to 30 January 2027.
Located in the picturesque village of Liddes, offers a quieter option for up to 18 participants. This alpine accommodation features a selection of single and double rooms, with a mix of shared and private bathrooms, including rooms with twin beds and double beds. During the winter camp, Relais de Dranse remains the main camp accommodation. Participants staying at our partner accommodation will join the rest of the group at Relais de Dranse for language courses, meals and evening activities, combining a quieter accommodation experience with the full friLingue camp programme.

Main Accommodation – Coliving Petit Vélan - Winter
This accommodation is used for our winter camp from 31 January to 13 February 2027 and from 21 February to 6 March 2027.
The charming accommodation Petit Vélan is located in the neighboring village of Bourg St. Pierre and has 23 beds. It comprises two dormitories and various types of rooms with shared or private bathrooms.
Partner Accommodation - in Bourg-Saint-Pierre - Winter
This accommodation is used for our winter camp from 31 January to 13 February 2027 and from 21 February to 6 March 2027.
Located in the charming alpine village of Bourg-Saint-Pierre, the Auberge offers a peaceful and comfortable accommodation option for up to 18 participants. The family-run guesthouse features seven double rooms as well as a two-room apartment suitable for 3–4 people, providing a cosy and more private atmosphere. During the winter camp, Petit Vélan remains our main camp accommodation. Participants staying at the Auberge will join the rest of the group at Petit Vélan for language courses, meals and evening activities, combining a quieter accommodation experience with the full friLingue camp programme.

Main Accommodation - Maison Dolent - Winter
This accommodation is used for our winter camp from 14 February to 20 February 2027.
Maison Dolent is a welcoming mountain accommodation located in the picturesque alpine village of La Fouly, in the Val Ferret, at the foot of the majestic Mont Dolent, where Switzerland, France and Italy meet. Surrounded by breathtaking Alpine scenery and located just next to the ski slopes, it offers the perfect setting for an unforgettable winter camp. The house features comfortable shared bedrooms with 4–6 or 8–10 beds, all equipped with bunk beds and shared bathroom facilities, providing a warm and friendly atmosphere for children and teenagers to relax after exciting days on the slopes.
This is a sample programme. Activities and excursions may change depending on weather and other factors beyond our control.
MATHEMATICS LESSONS
Mathematics lessons take place in small groups with an average of 8 students. This allows our teachers to respond individually to the needs of each participant.
WORKSHOPS
In the afternoon, you can look forward to a varied selection of workshops—ranging from sports like soccer, basketball, or tennis to creative activities such as painting, dance, or graffiti, as well as cooking and teamwork workshops. There’s something for everyone.
EVENING ACTIVITIES
You’re guaranteed not to get bored in the evening either! Look forward to discos, karaoke, casino nights, movie nights, campfires, Werewolf, Sardines, board games, and many more fun activities with your new friends.
EXCURSIONS
Half-Day Excursions
During the week, we’ll explore the region around the Great St. Bernard Pass together. Depending on the program, we’ll visit places such as:
- Champex-Lac—the idyllic mountain village with its beautiful lake.
- Col du Grand-Saint-Bernard – the famous Alpine pass home to the legendary St. Bernard dogs.
- La Fouly Adventure Park – climbing fun and action right in the middle of the mountains.
- Hikes through the impressive Valais mountain landscape.
- Aosta (Italy) – Stroll through the charming old town and enjoy an authentic Italian pizza for dinner.
Full-Day Excursions
On Saturday, we’ll take an exciting day trip to one of the region’s most beautiful attractions, such as:
- Sion, with its historic castle.
- St-Léonard, home to Europe’s largest natural underground lake.
- Lausanne, featuring the Olympic Museum or Aquatis.
- Martigny and the St. Bernard Museum (Barryland).
- Montreux with Chaplin’s World.
- Chillon Castle, the famous moated castle on Lake Geneva.
At the camp in St. Bernhard, two half-day excursions during the week and one full-day excursion on Saturday are included in the stay. Together, we’ll explore the most beautiful landscapes and attractions of Valais and French-speaking Switzerland.
INTENSIVE COURSE: 100 - 150 CHF
2/3 additional afternoon languages classes per week held in smaller groups (2-6 participants on average)
HORSE RIDING COURSE: 250 CHF per week
Join our horse riding course in Martigny perfect for beginners to intermediates (not suitable for the experienced). Three times a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday afternoons) with expert instructors in stunning surroundings.
Note: A minimum of 3 participants per week is required for the course to proceed! The riding course is mainly conducted in French. However, the staff also have basic knowledge of English and German.
TENNIS LESSONS: 150 CHF PER WEEK
6 hours of tennis training per week

CODING & PIXEL ART WORKSHOP – CHF 200 PER WEEK (only available during the weeks of 27.09 & 04.10.)
Bring images to life by programming them yourself! In the Pixel Art workshop with GirlsCodeToo, you’ll learn the basics of programming: how to work with the Python programming language, what pixels are, and how to use simple code to create your own images and animations on a pixel display. With the ImagiCharm kit, you’ll programme your own designs, colour gradients and small animations step by step to create your very own artwork.
Minimum number of participants: 6.
Note: All necessary equipment will be provided.
ADVENTURE CAMP AFTERNOON ACTIVITIES: 250 CHF PER WEEK
Extra afternoon activities in nature (hiking, rafting, exploring), 3 afternoons per week

AIRPORT TRANSFERS
(for students coming from abroad countries)
A member of our team welcomes the young participant at the airport and takes him/her to the camp together with other students. The last day, he or she is accompanied back to the airport. Please make sure you book your arrival and departure flights on a Sunday and inform us as soon as you can about the details. The flight is not included in the price.

TRANSFER BY TRAIN FROM ZURICH OR BERN:
(for Swiss participants)
A member of our team waits for the participants in Zurich or Bern (each time at the main train station) and takes them to the camp along with other children and teenagers (by bus or train).
At the end of the week, the participants are accompanied back to Zurich or Bern (again, to the main train station) until their parents (or another adult designed by the parents) wait for them.
Price (per way): 80 CHF from or to Zurich, 60 CHF from or to Bern (price includes the train ticket)
Price (per way) for participants with a General Abonnement (GA): 25 CHF from or to Zurich, 20 CHF from or to Bern.
Please note that for any late change (10 days before the camps or less) after booking this service (cancellation or other destination), friLingue will have to charge administration fees (40 CHF).
ARRIVAL/DEPARTURES:
Arrivals are on Sundays between 5 and 6pm at the chalet where friendly members of our staff will be waiting to welcome you and show you to your room Departures are every Saturday after the excursion between 3.30 and 4pm at the train station of that week's excursion location. The exact time and location will be confirmed by the camp leader during the week. It is also possible for parents or guardians to collect their children directly from the camp either on Friday evening or on Saturday morning before 10am, we just kindly ask that you notify the camp leader in advance.
