Fruska Gora, a former island in the Pannonian Sea, is located in Vojvodina, more precisely in Srem. It’s located in the west-easterly direction with a length of 80km and a width of 15km, with its highest peak, Red Chot, reaching 539m. The valleys and slopes of Fruska Gora are covered with meadows, pastures and grain fields, orchards and vineyards on the slopes, and more than 300m of its surface is covered with thick, deciduous forests.
