SPECIAL INFORMATION ON THE CORONAVIRUS
Over the past few months, we have all witnessed how our daily routine has been completely changed by the corona virus. Now that the majority of our 2021 summer and fall camps have successfully taken place, we are looking towards 2022. We remain confident that as soon as the warmer months of the year arrive, our language and vacation camps will be able to start again.
In order to continue to offer your children the best possible protection, the existing protection and hygiene concepts will be continuously improved and adapted.
Is there already a concept of what our camps might look like in the coming year 2022?
The entire tourism industry is aware of the seriousness of the situation. Especially in the children and youth travel sector, we all have a great responsibility towards you and your children. We are continuing to work flat out to see what is feasible in 2022 and what is not. From reduced numbers of participants to meal spacing arrangements to adapted recreational programs - we assure you: we will all leave no stone unturned to make sure your kids have a great time.
If you book a spring or summer camp today, you have nothing to lose. Of course, we understand that there is a lot of concern for the health of the children and the environment. But we assure you: our camps will only take place if there are no safety concerns from our side and from the government side.
Another reason why we recommend you to think about booking now is that the most popular camps are usually booked up quickly. We expect that when the situation eases up, many camp spots will be spoken for very quickly. After many children have been at home for weeks and are still at home, at some point they need physical exercise and contact with kids of the same age again. Our language and vacation camps offer all of this. Since we work with experienced educators and focus on an age-appropriate activity and recreational program at each camp, these are just the balance the kids need.
Of course, we know that it's difficult to ensure safety with words alone. That's why our camps give you the option to reschedule your booking to any date up to 5 days before the start - at no additional cost! Alternatively, we also issue a voucher with the amount already paid. This is a step we take in this exceptional situation to give you a little more security.
In general, we recommend that you always take out travel insurance when traveling with children and teenagers. To ensure that you are also fully covered in times of Corona, we also offer the new Corona travel insurance. This can only be booked in combination with the classic travel cancellation insurance. The Corona Travel Protection additionally covers e.g. the following services: Should the child be placed in domestic quarantine prior to departure as a result of an official measure or placed in isolation during the trip by order of a doctor, then the cancellation costs will be reimbursed. Likewise, Corona travel protection will apply if corona-related changes have to be made during the camp.
