Inscribed in the UNESCO Wold heritage site, the capital city of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region has the highest number of preserved historical buildings of any city in France, just after Paris: exactly 362 official historical monuments, like the Column of the Girondins, the Grand theater, the Pey-Berland Tower… One of the wealthiest city of France, Bordeaux made its fortune partly with the production of wines, which gave it the opportunity to become also one of the most beautiful.
Our partner school in Bordeaux welcomes students off all nationalities who wants to learn French and also discover this rich culture. Several programs are offered, from standard French classes to French for professionals of tourism and hospitality, depending of your needs. Don't hesitate to contact us to discover them all!
As for the school itself, its building is a charming town house typical of the 19th century, in the city center, with 9 classrooms and a beautiful lounge where students can relax between the lessons. At walking distance from the Place des Quinconces, the National Opera, the famous Place de la Bourse with its Water Mirror and the Quais de la Gironde, its location is perfect to discover what makes Bordeaux so special. So come to Bordeaux and discover this wonderful place! Settle down in the private garden in the shade of a fig tree or at a terrace of the Place Gambetta to do your homework, then enjoy your break with a delicious canelé (typical cake from Bordeaux made with rum and natural vanilla) in Sainte Anne street in the animated pedestrian area of the city-centre!

Our weekly courses are open to any level, from complete beginners to advanced levels, C1. The courses consist of 20 lessons of 45 minutes in a week, in the morning or in the afternoon from Monday to Friday.
This option is perfect for those willing to start learning French or improve and perfect their level while enjoying enough free time to take advantage of their stay in France.
To complement general French classes, we offer 1 additional workshop online.

The courses consist of 30 lessons of 45 minutes in a week, in the morning or in the afternoon from Monday to Friday + 3 additional courses of an hour and a half. These are specifically targeted workshops focusing on one element of the French language, suited to your needs and desires.
This option is perfect for those willing to start learning French or improve and perfect their level while enjoying enough free time to take advantage of their stay in France.

The students stay by host families, inhabitants of Bordeaux (they live 40 minutes maximum from the school by public transportation, 20 minutes for a supplement). They are chosen and monitored by the school's staff: they are friendly and always willing to help the students to practice their French and to discover the region and its culture, and they also assist them for every detail of their everyday' life. They are evaluated by the students and controled yearly by the schools staff. There is a Wi-Fi connection in every house or apartement. Every week, the students can eighter use the washing machine or give their laundry to their host for them to wash.
Different kind of rooms are offered, and students can also choose a family living very near the school or a little farer, and get if they want a room with a private bathroom (those options will appear on your registration form).
High season: from 02/06 to 31/08 and from 22/12 to 04/01.
Special dietary requirement: Please specify your request before arrival (except vegeterian).
Double rooms are only available for 2 people that sign up together - couple, family or friends.
Please note that it is not possible to book more than 3 extra nights.
