Learn English in Dublin

Dublin, the Irish capital, is located on the east coast of the country and is home to around 600,000 inhabitants. The River Liffey flows through the center of the city and out into the Dublin Bay.

Dublin is a city that will fully satisfy your interests, with both inner city and nearby attractions to be enjoyed. Definitely on the To-Do list is a trip to the fishing village of Howth (where the freshly-caught, spicy breaded cod at the harbour is an absolute must-try!) and a trip to the rough Wicklow Mountains, to behold its castles and gardens. Day trips to Bray and Glendalough are also recommended.

Dublin is also renowned for being home to world-famous writers such as George Bernard Shaw, Samuel Beckett and Oscar Wilde, to name but a few, however, Dublin doesn't merely revel in the glory of its past; lively neighbourhoods such as Temple Bar remain as important to entertainment and culture in the present day as they did way-back-when.

When it comes to sports, a visit to the local Rugby Club, Leinster, is recommended, however watching a Hurling or a Gaelic football match will give you a sporting experience that is truly and exclusively Irish, as both of these are pre-Gaelic sports that you won't find anywhere else in the world! Whatsmore, the games are held a Croke Park, the 4th largest stadium in Europe, with a capacity of upto 82,300.
